Happy Friday! There's no better way to celebrate a busy week than with some spaces, recipes, clothing that I loved along my online travels this week. So grab your coffee or a glass of wine and peruse away!

1
While over checking out daily's at Glitter Guide this pad quickly become one of my fave's of their Style at Home features.

Did some online window shopping, and I'm lusting after this necklace at Cwonder! *Side note: has anyone coined a phrase for that yet? There must be a more glamorous way of saying "online window shopping"? right?!

Totally lovin' this outfit over at Sincerely Jules, I want those jeans!

Life isn't complete without a little indulgence, I want to try this recipe Camille Styles posted this week.

Cute DIY. It brought back fond memories of spending time planting with my mother planting. So naturally I want to try this one over at Design Sponge.

And last but not least...I will also say YES to this outfit on Kendi Everyday. Super Cute!

And that wraps up everything that rocked my socks this week! I hope you all had a great, fun week! Take care friends!

Finding a balance...

So in this post I warn you, I might be getting all Oprah on you, but here goes...

I'm sure everyone goes through these phases in their lives, when getting to do the things we love, enjoy, and that make us happy, seem to come second to everything else going on. Not to say I don't enjoy my work, but personal projects, endeavours, goals and "ME" time, are just as important to one's overall wellbeing and happiness. So how do you strike a balance?

Personally when I get into a routine things are going great! I've got inspiration, energy, and a positive attitude to get me through my days. But when a work deadline hits, it seems to throw a wrench into my routine. Working longer hours, getting lazy about eating healthy, or exercising. You get the picture. I think we've all been there, right? Naturally you don't have as much personal time. Then once the weekend hits, it's trying to regain your strength to hit the next week hard. I always have to give my all into any project, even if that means sacrificing my "ME" time and routine.

So here's what I'm going to try my best and focus on improving.

1. Being far more realistic with my To-Do lists. I have a horrible habit of creating a list in which I think is completely realistic to complete in that day. Guess what?! It's not realistic, and then I get discouraged. What was I thinking when I created it?!! I digress. Create a realistic to do list!

2. Taking time to recharge and get re-inspired. I don't do this enough. Take 30 mins to just stop, and do something mindless.  Whatever I need to do to just de-stress, do it. Often when I've been working on something for a long time intensely, I can't always see the end product resolving. If I stop, take a moment, and step away. When I come back to it,  I regain the perspective I need to complete the task.

3. Regardless of working late, always maintain the same bed-time. Now I sound like I'm five. I  certainly have a horrible habit of staying up late when work is going strong. I constantly think I never have enough "ME" time, so I need to put in a couple hours. BUT it's a viscous cycle. If I stay-up late, I'm exhausted the next day and then end up uninspired to create and even just get through the next day. You know the days where the endless cup of coffee just isn't enough? They gotta stop!

What about you? Any advice for this crazy girl? How do you maintain your personal routine when work gets crazy? How do you find enough hours in the day to complete everything you want? Continue making healthy decisions? Get time in for personal projects and goals? I clearly seem to be struggling with this. I set out with the best of intensions but...

I hope you are able to find your balance.
Talk soon lovlies.

Low Medium High // 01 Travel Accessories

While getting ready and preparing for my upcoming trip to Seattle and Southern Cali, I got inspired to share my top travel accessoires with you all. Three must haves catering to all price points, so here goes...

1// Headphones: I don't know about you, but I go insane if I can't pop my headphones in to listen my music or a video, at some point during a flight. Especially if your looking to sleep for hours on a long haul flight. The bigger the headphones the better. It's screams, don't mess with me (to put it ever so nicely, of course).

Urbanears | Frends | Bose

2// Scarf: I am one of those people that always seems to get cold or chilled no matter where I am. Well the exceptions to that statement is a small list at least. Where ever I'm travelling to I always take one. I prefer one with some pattern or some hits of color to hide any mishaps during inflight food or drink service.

Anthropolgie | Brika | DVF Via Shopbop

3// Tote Bag: Grab an endless tote bag to be your companion on any flight. I'm probably not the only one who has a specific list of carry-on items they need to have on hand while they fly. Just make sure you choose a functional one that works for you but nevertheless stylin'.

Zara | Lo and Sons | Coach

And that wraps up the Low Medium High post for this week. Until next time lovlies.
